The Trial

Raisely is conducting a 4 Day Week trial starting on 2 May, ending 3 months later on 29 July. The trial is to understand the benefits and downsides of a 4 Day Week for our company, productivity, happiness, and mental health.

We’re here to improve the wellbeing of people and planet, so the wellbeing of our people is critical to our mission. But we must balance this with the impactful work we do amplifying our charity customers, and their progress towards this goal.

How it works

Raisely’s trial of a 4 Day Week comes with a 100% pay, 80% time, 100% productivity model. Here’s how that works in practice.

  1. Gift Day If you complete at least 30.4 hours of work in a single calendar week, you’re given the remaining 7.6 hours off. We call this the “Gift Day”.
    1. You will remain a full-time team member of Raisely, and will be paid your full salary for a 38 hour week.
    2. You will accrue annual leave and sick leave at a full time rate.
  2. Scheduling your Gift Day Your Gift Day should be scheduled in consultation with your team, and should be predictable. Any changes to your Gift Day (ie. swapping from a Friday to a Monday) should only be done after consulting your team. You must put your scheduled Gift Day in your calendar and update your office hours, so others know when you’re working.
